皆さん、こんにちは！
今回は、OasisのWonderwallを紹介します。
このタイトルのWonderwallですが、造語で特定の意味はありません。
不思議な壁や魔法の壁といった感じの意味になります。
この曲は、ノエルの当時の恋人であった人についての歌と当初は述べていましたが、あとになってそれを否定して、「想像上の友人に救われる歌」といった歌詞の内容だといっています。
個人的に思うのが、この歌詞の主人公は今生きている世界に疲れ果てていて、自殺さえも考えていました。ですが、あとのノエルがいった想像上の友達というものが現れて、自殺すること、この世からいなくなることを思いとどまらせてくれたといった曲なのかなあと思います。
